About my process

When I was in preschool, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. The first painting I did was of my grandparent's farm.  I remember how I loved working on that picture.  As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art.

My Medium

  • I use a variety of mediums, such as digital, encaustic and watercolor. I have been working to resurrect the Early Roman method of painting which uses the encaustic process.  Pictured here is a reproduction I made of one of the mummy portraits excavated from Fayum, Egypt.
